Board of Directors
Our working board consists of volunteer parents and administrators. We meet once a month to approve grant requests, discuss community outreach events, and report on fundraising initiatives. If you are interested in participating in the TEF board, please contact us.
Marianne left the corporate world to focus on raising her kids, and to shift her efforts to the nonprofit world. She served on the Board of Wesley Prep, a PreK-6 school in Dallas, Texas, as well as various other organizations in education and the arts. In addition to being a ski mom and serving on TEF’s Board, she enjoys long walks in Bear Creek with her sweet dog, Marcy. She also has a grumpy cat named Kevin.
Lisa has a diverse background, having experience in the corporate world in NYC as an Account Executive at a pharmaceutical advertising agency, an Entrepreneur in NYC’s Upper East Side, a Bookkeeper, and a Financial Planning Assistant here in Telluride.
This is Lisa’s 10th year on TEF’s board, having served as Vice President, Co-President, and now Treasurer. Outside of TEF, she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, camping and long walks with her dog Chief Brody.
In addition to her love the Telluride community, Erika enjoys just about any activity in which she can get into nature and draw inspiration from the mountains around her. She is an avid skier, hiker, mountain, gravel, and road biker, an Ironman athlete and yogi. Look for her hiking her kids up a peak or trying to out-ski them down the mountain.
As a teacher, Erin has been on the receiving end of many of TEF’s amazing projects. TEF has helped her with numerous Tie-Dye Projects, Glow Bowling, Getting the Grow Dome back up and running, and many other activities that have helped create life-long memories for her students and our community. Erin is excited to be joining TEF as a voice for the teachers, and as a way for her to give back to such an incredible group!
Liliana was born and raised in Mexico City, she has worked in management consulting, finance, and technology companies for almost 20 years and has volunteered extensively for non-profit organizations that support education and the Hispanic community. Locally, she is also part of the Leadership Council for the Telluride Foundation and has been a mentor for two years for TVN’s Como Construir tu Negocio.
Kaylie was a Montessori teacher before helping to start an alternative school, Acton Academy. She went on to start a summer day camp, Neuron Garage, which serves about 2000 campers per summer at multiple locations in Austin, TX.
Kaylie is excited to work with TEF to help create community, positive experiences and enhance the educational experience for all TSD students.
