Telluride Education Foundation is committed to strong, sustained and equitable educational excellence for every student in the District. We strive to be a unifying force in supporting our public schools and bringing together educators, parents, students, local business and community members.
About Telluride Education
Telluride Education Foundation (TEF) is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that raises money to invest in the enrichment of K-12 education in the Telluride School District. Specifically, we raise funds for STUDENTS – experiential learning initiatives in and out of the classroom, TEACHERS & PARAEDUCATORS – grants and appreciation to encourage retention and attraction, and COMMUNITY – social and emotional education events.
We are extremely grateful and humbled by the outpouring of support for TEF’s programs and initiatives for the 2025/26 school year.
Examples of how funds are distributed by TEF
- $2,500 gives a teacher a grant to help cover the costs of childcare
- $1,000 funds a science lab in classrooms
- $500 funds a field trip for students
- $250 funds commuting costs
- $150 Spreading joy
