Uhls\, a former senior exec at MGM and Sony\, left the movie world to study child development\, earning a Ph.D. in Psychology at UCLA. Uhls recently founded The Center for Scholars & Storytellers\, an organization dedicated to bridging the work of child development researchers and youth content creators. Uhls is also an assistant adjunct professor at UCLA where she does research on how media affect the social behavior of tweens and teens and teaches a class on Digital Media and Human Development; she is an advisor for Common Sense Media\, YouTube Kids and Family\, Barbie and the Jacobs Foundations Learning and Science Exchange; and is the author of the parenting book Media Moms & Digital Dads: A Fact not Fear Approach to Parenting in the Digital Age. Research conducted by Dr. Uhls has been featured in Time Magazine\, the NY Times\, USA Today\, NPR and many others\, and published in academic journals such as Developmental Psychology and Computers in Human Behavior.

Jeff is a National Champion who played for the Utah Wheelin Jazz and is a four-time All-Star MVP.  He was the #1 men’s wheelchair tennis player in the State of Utah and won the St. George Marathon. Jeff also has two Guinness Book of World Records. \nHe earned his Master’s degree in Education and Curriculum and created a worldwide peer-to-peer leadership program for third-world countries\, which was recognized at the United Nations in New York. \nIn his spare time\, you’ll find him with his beautiful family\, mentoring youth\, eating pizza\, playing games with friends\, and exercising! \nHe is passionate about progress and peanut butter M&Ms.\nJeff’s teaching style\, humor\, and personality\, which has always made him one of the most liked and sought after teachers during his 16 year career\, is what will assist you in making World Record Winners as well!

He played in the 2004 Paralympic games in Athens Greece and is a silver medalist for the USA men’s wheelchair basketball team. Jeff is a National Champion who played for the Utah Wheelin Jazz and is a four-time All-Star MVP.  He was the #1 men’s wheelchair tennis player in the State of Utah and won the St. George Marathon. Jeff also has two Guinness Book of World Records. \nHe earned his Master’s degree in Education and Curriculum and created a worldwide peer-to-peer leadership program for third-world countries\, which was recognized at the United Nations in New York. \nIn his spare time\, you’ll find him with his beautiful family\, mentoring youth\, eating pizza\, playing games with friends\, and exercising! \nHe is passionate about progress and peanut butter M&Ms.\nJeff’s teaching style\, humor\, and personality\, which has always made him one of the most liked and sought after teachers during his 16 year career\, is what will assist you in making World Record Winners as well!
